Historian General Interviewed for NPR's "Here and Now"
Historian General Ann Lainhart will be featured on the National Public Radio program "Here and Now" on Thanksgiving Day. Here & Now's Shannon Mullen visits the General Society in Plymouth, Mass., to find out what it takes to get into this "exclusive club whose members can prove they are direct descendents of the 102 pilgrims who landed at Plymouth Rock nearly four centuries ago."

Board of Assistants to Meet
The Nebraska Society of Mayflower Descendants Board of Assistants meet prior to the Annual Meeting on Sunday, Nov. 18 beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Knolls Country Club, 2201 Old Cheney Road, Lincoln. All board members are urged to attend.

The Nebraska Society of Mayflower Descendants Annual Meeting and Thanksgiving Dinner is Sunday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m. at Lincoln's Knolls Country Club, 2201 Old Cheney Road.
Bob Ripley, architect and Capitol Administrator, is the featured speaker. His keynote will focus on current restoration and preservation projects in and around the state capitol building.
